Fun and Learning 2021

We had our annual Fun and Learning Day recently!

Diane from 3 Green Lights came in and gave us a great presentation on communication – how to use it effectively with matching or contrasting personality types. She had us do an activity by building the highest tower possible with hard spaghetti noodles, string and a marshmallow on top. Dr. Loose and Jan won with the only tower left standing, it was also the highest Diane had ever seen – new record holders! We always love having Diane in, she gives us great insights on how we can work better as a team and within our personal lives as well.

After some snacks and lunch we did some Vision Therapy exercises. It was fantastic to see and learn the things that our VT patients experience. I think we all have a greater understanding and respect for the things these patients do on a weekly basis – most of us left tired, eyes sore and a slight headache. The exercises seem simple but when they are put into practice they are very taxing on the visual system and you can tell how much they work the eyes, brain and body. It was great to see Dr. Loose and Kim in their element of teaching, they are both patient and awesome instructors!
