At Envision, our mission is to deliver high-quality vision care through the knowledge and skills of our unified team of professionals. Our business is about you and your unique vision needs.

We take pride in being locally owned and operated. Our office supports many local sports teams and charities that benefit our community and surrounding areas. At least yearly, our team makes the trip to remote locations to provide eyecare to people in need – most not able to travel the distance to an optometrist.

Dr. Brenton Loose – Optometrist

Dr. Loose graduated from University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry (Beta Sigma Kappa Honour Student) in 1998 and returned to Prince George in 1999. Optometry had been his goal since grade 10 while attending D.P. Todd Secondary School. As a developmental optometrist, he has additional training and special interest in resolving visual dysfunctions related to eye teaming, eye tracking, lazy eye, double vision, traumatic brain injuries (concussions) and visual perceptual skills that affect reading, achievement in school and every day life activities. He also has a keen interest and certified training in specialty contact lenses such as multifocal, rigid gas permeable, orthokeratology lenses (Overnight Corneal Reshaping) and scleral lenses.

Dr. Loose enjoys working with the Envision team and offering comprehensive and specialized vision care. He enjoys the outdoors with his wife Tami, and their four daughters. Some of their favourite activities in beautiful British Columbia are canoeing, fishing, alpine hiking, snowshoeing and four season camping.

Britney

Office Manager / CCOA

Britney joined Envision in 2017 and completed the CCOA certification through the College of Optometry in 2019. With many years of customer service experience, she is enthusiastic and dedicated to our patients and clinic.

Britney has been passionate about optometry since starting in 2017. After mastering pre-exam procedures, excelling in dispensing glasses, managing the 1-hr lab and social media, the opportunity came available to manage the clinic and team. Britney has been managing the practice since May 2022. High standards in patient care, vision and experience are at the forefront of our team’s day to day goals.

During her off time she can be found appreciating our beautiful city with her family.

Hailey

Licensed Optician / Contact Lenses
Hailey joined our team in 2017 and has since become a licensed optician. Her upbeat, energetic personality fits well within our team.

Since first starting she has found a passion for optics and ways to use her knowledge to improve patients quality of life through sight. She has grown into her position here from starting as a pre-examiner and once mastered, she moved to dispensing. She has become our contact lens fitter and now our teams licensed optician.

During the off days Hailey likes to go for walks with her family, decorate her house for current seasons, gardening and reading a good book.

Senior Frame Stylist
Brenda has 12 years of experience working in the optical industry.
